The Government will publish a ten-year investment framework for science and innovation alongside the Spending Review.
The framework will set out the Government’s ambition for UK science and innovation over the next decade, in particular their contribution to economic growth and public services, and the attributes and funding arrangements of a research system capable of delivering this.
The Government will be conducting a dialogue with key stakeholders – including the scientific community, businesses, charities and regional and devolved bodies – in drawing up this framework. To inform this process, the Government published a consultation document Science and innovation: working towards a ten-year investment framework as part of Budget.
Deadline 30 April.
