The Science Communication Conference took place on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 May at the RCOG, London.
Strategy recommendations (pdf 150KB) have been prepared on behalf of conference participants by the BA and the Royal Society.
The overall theme of the programme was 'Strategies to Improve Impact'.
The conference seeks to address the key issues facing science communicators in the UK and to play an important role in helping develop a national strategy for science communication.
The conference is aimed at key people engaged in science communication, including policy makers, professionals and academics, in government, research institutions, universities, industry and business, the media, PR, science centres and museums, science education, funding organisations, learned institutions, NGOs and research charities.
This year's conference was jointly organised by the BA and the Royal Society
